We love to keep it in the family! When bride to be Heather contacted us shortly after her engagement we were thrilled, since we had done her sister Dora Ann’s wedding 2 years previously and we were more than happy to work with these wonderful ladies again at the beautiful Hamilton Country Club in Ancaster Ontario.
Heather new exactly what she wanted, which makes our job easy. A palette of ivory and blush pink was her vision but she needed a way to incorporate gold elements. What we came up with, which simple, fit the bill perfectly.
The brides bouquet was a perfect round globe of ivory and blush roses. We accented the bouquet with a lovely collar of gold and ivory ribbon and added a gold crystal band to the handle.
The bridesmaids bouquets were very similar featuring fluffy ivory hydrangea accented with roses. They received a similar ribbon treatment to tie in the gold and unify the bouquets.
The grooms boutonniere was a simple ivory rose with gold tinted leaves.
The chuppah was decorated with 2 large floral arrangements of hydrangea and roses. We tinted some leaves gold and added them to the edges of the floral.
The reception hall was simple and elegant with low arrangements at each table. Gold rhinestone ribbon was wrapped around each glass vase for a little bit of sparkle in the candlelight. Perched atop each vase was a globe of ivory hydrangea with blush and ivory roses.
We were so happy to provide the floral for this beautiful family again! We wish Heather and Michael a long a happy marriage and thank you for having us be a part of your big day!
