Bold Blue Bouquets

Sometimes we get to do something a little unexpected. In this case, bold blue flowers were the request from the bride, Natalie. Royal blue in particular, since its her favourite colour. Enter the challenge. Royal blue flowers don’t exist in nature, but we have a few tricks up our sleeves šŸ˜‰

We started with white commerical mums and tinted them royal blue. Picture a spray paint for flowers that doesn’t rub off, nor hurts the flower itself. The result was the perfect shade of blue we needed for the base of the bouquets. We combined the tinted mums with white roses and blue dendrobium orchids for contrast. Finished with dark purple satin ribbon these bouquets definitely added flair to this wedding. And did they ever look stunning against the grey bridesmaids dresses.

We loved creating this bold design for a great couple. And we heard through the grapevine that the party was outstanding. Guess that’s what you can expect from two professional dancers! Best of luck to Natalie and Dustin on a long happy marriage!
