Garden Style at The Old Mill Toronto

Meeting with bride Sharlene was a pleasure from the beginning. This sweet bride was planning a small, intimate wedding at The Old Mill Toronto and wasn’t letting anything about a typical wedding run away with her. The focus was on marrying the love of her life, whom she’d been with for over 10 years. Instead she focused on love and surrounding her and her groom with friends and family in a lovely quaint location on a beautiful spring day.

Sharlene chose a palette of ivory and cranberry with a loose garden style. The bouquets for her and her Maid of Honour combined roses, spray roses, lisianthis, berries and seeded eucalyptus.

The groom and best man each wore a white rose boutonniere accented with red berries.

The ceremony took place in the chapel at The Old Mill Toronto. White rose pomanders with cranberry ribbon hung down the aisle. A long low floral arrangement of hydrangea, roses, spray roses, lisianthus, berries and seeded eucalyptus was placed on the altar table.

The lunch time reception was in one of the many charming banquet rooms at The Old Mill. Sunlight filtered in through the windows and the whole room was warm and inviting. Low centerpieces of hydrangea, roses, spray roses and lisianthis, loosely styled graced the center of each table. The red touches in the centerpieces highlighted the red and gold decor of the room beautifully.

Huge congratulations to Sharlene and Lester on their wedding day and a long happy marriage together.
