Pretty Vintage at The Grand Luxe

With so many ways to do a vintage theme we were intrigued by bride Tanya’s vision for her day. For her it was all about lace details, with lots of pearls and a pretty colour palette of peach, coral, bush and light blue. The results were beautiful!

The bouquets combined white peonies with peach and coral roses, spray roses and blue- grey foliage of dusty miller and silver brunia. Each was wrapped with light blue satin ribbon. The bridal bouquet was wrapped with a lace overlay accented with pearl trim.

The ceremony took place in the bride’s lifelong church. The aisle was lined with shepherd hooks containing hydrangea, roses and dusty miller. Two tall sprays of orchids and stock in ivory and blush flanked the altar.

The Grand Luxe was the site for the beautiful reception. Cast in soft blue light the room had a mix of round and gallery style tables. Each round table had a tall spray of orchids and stock in ivory, peach and blush atop a clear glass vase. The gallery tables featured lots of candles, with crystal candelabras and low arrangements of hydrangea and roses along the length. All tables were draped with a light blue satin table cloth and ivory lace overlay.
