Bride Valerie came to us with a wedding theme inspired by The Phantom of the Opera and the song The Music of the Night. Envisioning a combination of fuchsias, deep reds, blush and royal purple she wanted the flowers to make a bold statement, which we were right on board with!
Valerie’s bridal bouquet was a study in rich colour and texture. Fuchsia garden roses, pink dahlia’s, red and blush roses, dark purple lisianthis, pink berries and red ranunculus was a wonderful textural combination with crystal and pearl accents throughout. Absolutely breath-taking!
The bridesmaids carried equally dramatic bouquets comprised of fuchsia garden roses, blush and red roses, pink dahlia’s, dark purple lisianthis & red berries which popped against their blush gowns.
We also created a little something special for the flower girl. Instead of a basket of flowers or crown we fashioned this wand with fresh flower topper, crystals and colourful ribbons. Adorable!
Simple ceremony flowers included a stunning low arrangement for the signing table of purple hydrangea, pink dahlia’s, red and fuchsia roses and dark purple lisianthis. Our iron shepherds hooks also lined the aisle filled with hydrangea, roses & lisianthis.
The Venetian Banquet Hall was the site for the reception. It’s ornate banquet rooms with crystal chandeliers, gilded mirrors and moulding fit perfectly with the wedding theme. Each table featured a silver candelabra which held our stunning floral displays. Purple hydrangeas, pink dahlia’s, red and fuchsia roses, blush spray roses and purple lisianthis made a major statement in the room in a burst of dramatic colour. Just gorgeous!
We had so much fun utilizing such a bold colour scheme in some truly gorgeous floral designs. We wish Valerie & Daniel a happy and long marriage.
