We were introduced to bride Mallory by our past bride Cayley who recommended our floral services. It’s always nice to get referrals! Though Mallory lived outside of the Toronto area and couldn’t get into town to meet with us we planned her florals via phone and email correspondence with the same detail and precision we would have with in person meetings. Opting for a pretty palette of soft pinks, ivory and soft green touches we packed up our vehicle and headed 3 hours north of Toronto to Cobble Beach Resort on Georgian Bay for a beautiful lakeside wedding.
Mallory chose a mix of ivory and pink roses, spray roses and lisianthus blooms for a romantic rounded bridal bouquet with touches of crystals. Her bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the same bouquet but with the addition of soft green for a bit more colour against their pink gowns.
It was a perfect day for an outdoor ceremony with clear blue skies and not a cloud in sight! The ceremony took place right in front of Georgian Bay and we decorated the existing trellis with soft green hydrangea, lots of pink roses and greenery. It made for a beautiful backdrop! At the start of the aisle we placed a pair of matching arrangements of hydrangea, roses, spray roses and lisianthis on glass vases on our white pedestals. A simple, but beautiful ceremony space.
Inside the clubhouse, the guest tables were decorated with low centerpieces of hydrangea, roses and spray roses in silver vases. The trellis arrangement was transferred inside to sit atop the mantlepiece of the stone fireplace behind the head table. We love re-purposing flowers this way, and did it ever add to the room!
Congratulations to the happy couple and we were so glad to meet such a happy bride on her wedding day (finally!) Best wishes to them both on a long and happy marriage!
