Today we share a pretty wedding that embodied everything soft and feminine when it came to flowers. Bride Gloria wanted a look that was beautiful yet effortless surrounding a spring palette of blush pinks, whites and soft green. These gorgeous photos by Catherine Farquharson captured both the church ceremony and following ceremony at Malaparte at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in downtown Toronto.
Gloria’s bridal bouquet combined full white and blush roses, spray roses, white lisianthus and fluffy white stock flower accented with seeded eucalyptus greens. Soft and entirely feminine the bouquet complemented her fitted lace gown beautifully.
Bridesmaids carried full bouquets brimming with more roses, spray roses, lisianthus, baby’s breath and seeded eucalyptus greens. Set against blush chiffon gowns in different styles this was a pretty bridal party indeed!
The traditional church ceremony was decorated with baby’s breath entirely on it’s own so a soft and ethereal design. Cluster’s of baby’s breath were tied to the pews with blush pink satin ribbon and a pair of large baby’s breath globes flanked the altar table.
The boutonnieres and corsages for the bridal party and family were made with soft pink spray roses accented with more baby’s breath. They matched the men’s ties perfectly!
For the reception at Malaparte in downtown Toronto, the guest tables were set with low centerpieces comprised of hydrangeas, roses, spray roses and seeded eucalyptus greens in different shades of blush pink. Mercury votive candles and crisp white linens completed the understated but elegant decor.
The King’s Table style head table was loaded with blooms from the ceremony and also displayed the bridal party bouquets along it’s length. Tall pillar candles in glass cylinders were added for warmth and romance to complete the look.
