A multitude of jewel tones was bride Alexis’ vision for her wedding day. She wanted to stay away from the traditional white winter wedding and infuse the day with lots of bold colour… something we are always a fan of! So when she showed us the palette for the bridesmaids gowns (burgundy, crimson, navy, emerald, sapphire and plum) we knew all of these tones would combine to create some really gorgeous arrangements. Each bridesmaid carried a matching bouquet of lush winter flowers, including roses, thistle, stock, leucadendron and cymbidium orchids with eucalyptus greenery and long trailing satin ribbons. Lined up together for their photographs these colours played off each other beautifully and brought gorgeous depth and richness. Adding even more fun and colour to their photos, the couple and their bridal party played with confetti canons before heading out to the waterfront for more portraits in their elegant fur shawls. The bride even accessorized with a rocker chic leather jacket emblazoned with “Just Married” on the back. Luckily Corynn from Corynn Fowler Photography was on hand to capture all the wonderful details of this beautiful winter wedding.

Lucy and Bryan’s nuptials took place on a gorgeous early fall day this past September at The Doctors House in Kleinburg. Flawlessly executed by Veronique of Rebecca Chan Weddings & Events this stunning wedding was beautifully planned down to the very last detail. We were brought on to create botanical, yet modern floral arrangements to compliment this charming venue and it’s lush surrounding gardens. Using a palette of cream, mauve, blush and burgundy flowers with an abundance of greenery the florals were abundant and loosely styled to give a relaxed yet elegant feel. Captured by the talented Caileigh Langford of Photos By Caileigh this day was filled with pinterest worthy details from the floral accented stationary to the glittering gold and mirrored tables. Often fall weddings design colour schemes using rich reds, burnt oranges and other warm tones of the changing leaves. So when bride Angela requested a different take on the traditional fall palette, we designed using dusty shades of mauve, cream, ivory and silvery green to compliment the navy blue and gold colour scheme. Combining roses, spray roses, thistle, scabiosa pods and greenery the flowers were slightly loose, lush and little bit rustic. The reception hall featured three different styles of centerpieces; tall arrangements with willow branches, a matching low version and a trio set of bud vases surrounding a lantern. On hand to capture the entire day were the pro’s at Butterfly Kiss Photography who found the perfect autumn light flawlessly and even caught the groom’s impromptu sprint with a jogger.

A magical garden filled with butterflies a plenty was bride Nami’s vision for her special day. With a ceremony planned at The Royal Botanical Gardens her wish was sure to come true and it was filled to the brim with fresh summer flowers, handmade butterflies and beautiful aquamarine details to match her pretty engagement ring. A pretty palette of soft peach, blush and cream with lush greenery was chosen to compliment all of the aquamarine details found throughout the day in everything from the rings, the reception dress and stationary details. Butterflies were also in abundance; in the bride’s hair, hand painted on the table numbers and other stationary details and scattered on tabletops and added a magical touch of whimsy to the decor. The immaculate gardens served as a stunning backdrop for the gorgeous photos captured by Jeremie Dupont Photography.

When bride Janine approached us for a design for her wedding at Archeo in Toronto’s Distillery District she emphasized the desire to meld her and her future husband, Gabriel’s different cultural background into their relaxed yet elegant wedding. Janine, who’s Canadian, met Gabriel, who is French and Spanish, on an international exchange in the south of France. For the next seven years the couple kept their love alive, long distance, then living together in Europe before moving back to Canada. Returning to Europe in the summer of 2015 to visit family and to revisit the place where it all began Gabriel proposed in the in the middle of a lavender field in the south of France. As such, lavender became a key part of the wedding day floral design, incorporated into every decor element and bringing back the fondest of memories for the couple. Combined with soft pastel shades of blush and peach accented with muted eucalyptus greenery the floral scheme was relaxed, yet elegant, perfectly complimenting the setting of Archeo and captured by Cait Patrick Photography.

Sometimes you meet a couple who’s love is one for the ages. This was definitely the case with Angela and Marvin, who after over eight years together celebrated their marriage surrounded by friends and family, all of which pitched in to make the wedding day happen. From handmade rustic touches to a stunning life sized family tree, it took a village to get all the little details in order and the results were simply perfect. For the abundant florals we combined summer shades of peach and blush with lots of greenery perfectly befitting the greenhouse setting of Madsen’s Greenhouse & Chapel. From lush garlands loaded with roses, to pretty lanterns with floral bases, flowers were definitely the perfect compliment to this fairytale wedding. Captured by Wee Three Sparrows Photography this special day was as heartfelt as it was beautiful.

Alyse and Eddie’s intimate wedding took place on a perfect summer day on the lush grounds of McLean House at The Estates of Sunnybrook. Set against the perfectly green grounds the wedding palette of cream, lavender and deep aubergine brought just the right infusion of gorgeous colour to the space, expertly captured by the wonderful Lesley of Pure Aperture Photography. Combining beautiful seasonal blooms such as dahlia’s, roses and stock flower with botanical foliage kept with the garden theme and added just the right amount of colour and texture to the venue. We absolutely fell in love with the rich purple of the bridesmaids gowns, worn by the couples three daughters. It was so special to see this family unite together, since all of their children stood up as attendants for them. Needless to say, this is one good looking family and one beautiful wedding we were so thrilled to be a part of!

Cultural traditions have long since had a place in everything wedding related. When Sara & Vahid approached us for floral design services for their special day, we were enthralled by the Persian culture and the vast array of traditions in the ceremony. Taking place at the Bride’s family home on a beautiful spring day, the ceremony was steeped in tradition and meaning along side close family and friends. The Sofreh was lain with an abundance of fresh seasonal fruits, sweets, coins and other symbolic items pertaining to the ceremony that has been practiced for thousands of years. Sara was radiant in her custom fresh floral crown and matching botanical bouquet of blush spring blooms which perfectly complimented her exquisite hair and make up, provided by the talented ladies of Fancy Face Inc. After the ceremony guests joined the couple for the reception at Le Parc Banquet Hall where the showstopping design element was surely the stunning three tiered cake floating atop a bed of fresh flowers. Beautifully captured by Purple Tree Photography the day was filled with family and friends celebrating a beautiful couple’s new beginning together.

Never have we met a sweeter bride than Victoria, who enlisted us to create some pretty flowers for her mid summer wedding at The Granite Club, Toronto. Working with a soft palette of peach, blush pink, ivory and robin’s egg blue we executed a design scheme with fluffy hydrangea, full roses, seasonal dahlias and gold tinted greenery, beautifully captured by Without A Hitch Photography.

Victoria’s bridal bouquet combined lush summer dahlia’s with peach and blush roses, spray roses, white lisianthus and gold tinted greenery.

The ceremony, held at St. Philips on the Hill Church was awash with natural light and accented with pretty flowers lining the aisle. Bridesmaids clad in robin’s egg blue gowns carried bouquets of lush blooms, while the groomsmen looked daper in formal black suits. The happy couple whisked themselves away following the ceremony in a white vintage convertible Mercedes.

We love when a couple stays true to themselves and incorporates aspects of their personalities into their special day. Vicki & Matt were a super sweet and gracious couple that you could immediately tell share a longstanding love that will last a lifetime.  They knew they wanted to incorporate Vicki’s love for purple and Matt’s love of Kid Robot into their wedding decor and we were happy to help with the design, at least for the purple part! So we created a design concept combining lush purple blooms including hydrangea, roses, lisianthus and stock with relaxed greenery to give just the right pop of colour into the decor scheme. The  guestbook took care of Matt’s aspect, which was  an 18-inch vinyl Munny guests signed with markers. Such a fun and original idea! This beautiful and love filled wedding took place at the always fabulous Arcadian Loft in downtown Toronto and was recently featured on The Wedding Co. blog which you can see here, featuring even more of the gorgeous photos captured by Eighty Fifth Street Photography.

We wish a world of happiness to these two lovebirds and thank them for being apart of their special day.

Sometimes all a wedding calls for is a few beautifully designed bouquets for the bride and her maids as the final touch to their wedding day look. When Ruonan reached out with a request for some flowers for her bridal party we jumped at the chance to try a little bit of twist when it came to the colour palette. Having selected bridesmaids gowns in the softest sky blue, Ruonan wanted to add a pop of colour, while still keeping the overall look pretty and romantic. We decided on a gorgeous array of spring blooms including peach ranunculus, coral cabbage roses, waxflower, bay leaf greenery and soft blue delphinium. The result created the prettiest spring look we ever did see, captured by the talented Paula Visco Photography.
